KNI Prize Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Haozhe 'Harry' Wang receives the Best Poster Award at the Spring MRS conference.
Dr. Haozhe ‘Harry’ Wang, wins the Best Poster Award at 2022 Materials Research Society (MRS) Spring Meeting, for his poster on ‘Surface Engineering with Monolayer Precision – Applications to Quantum Interconnects’. Quantum interconnect components such as high quality-factor (Q-factor) microwave resonators are important for quantum information storage and addressing. These devices are extremely sensitive to imperfections that couple to the system's quantum mechanical degrees of freedom. In his presentation, Harry describes his aim to achieve clean surfaces in quantum computers leveraging Angstrom scale techniques.
Dr. Haozhe ‘Harry’ Wang is the 2021 KNI Prize Postdoctoral Fellow. He is working with Prof. Austin J. Minnich on superconducting devices and atomic layer etching methods in the KNI Laboratory. Visit Harry's personal website to learn more about his scientific work: www.haozhewang.net.
Congratulations, Harry!
