|Prize Postdoctoral Fellowships in Nanoscience
The Kavli Nanoscience Institute invites applications and nominations for Prize Postdoctoral Fellowships in Nanoscience.
This fellowship program has been established to offer scientists, typically within a few years after receipt of the PhD degree, the opportunity to pursue new and innovative research at the frontiers of nanoscience and engineering. In this open competition, strong preference will be given to applicants who propose experimental research in interdisciplinary areas of nanoscience. In the process of applying and developing a research plan, it is encouraged that applicants get in touch with faculty at Caltech with whom they would be interested in working. This appointment is contingent upon completion of all of the requirements for a PhD degree.
The Fellowships are to begin in Fall 2016 and are for a two-year duration. They carry an annual salary of $70,000 and come with a small research fund and relocation costs. Applications will be accepted until 5 pm PST on Monday, November 30, 2015.
Please apply on-line and upload materials to include curriculum vitae, publication list with refereed publications clearly marked, and a statement of research plans. Three letters of recommendation should also be uploaded.
Caltech is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
