Research Group |
|
My group's research activities are currently focused upon developing and using of nanodevices in the exploration of single-quantum and single-molecule phenomena. The systems we are building have a range of applications that span fundamental measurement, engineering, and biological and medical sciences.
Our ongoing efforts include:
- Alliance for nanosystems VLSI (very-large-scale integration) with CEA/Leti-MINATEC, Grenoble, France.
- Nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS): physics, fabrication, and applications.
- Nanomechanical devices for single-cell/single-molecule biosensing.
- Quantum electro mechanics.
- Applications of hybrid micro-/nano- technology to neurophysiology.
