KNI Prize Postdoctoral Fellows

The Kavli Nanoscience Institute at the California Institute of Technology Proudly Supports Postdoctoral Fellows in Nanoscience.

The KNI fellowship program was established to offer scientists who have recently earned their PhD degree the opportunity to pursue new and innovative research at the frontiers of nanoscience and engineering. In this open competition, preference is given to applicants who propose experimental research in interdisciplinary areas of nanoscience. In the process of applying and developing a research plan, we strongly encourage applicants to communicate with the Caltech faculty member they are interested in working with.

This appointment is contingent upon completion of all of the requirements for a PhD degree.Fellowships are to begin in Fall 2021 for a two-year duration. Salary is commensurate with experience and agreed upon with the successful applicant’s Caltech faculty sponsor. The fellowship comes with an annual discretionary research fund of $4,000 and up to $2,000 in relocation costs.

The KNI strongly encourages researchers from all backgrounds, identities, races, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, and abilities to apply.
